3D Printing Inconel.
3D Printing in Inconel and Nickle Super Alloys. Strong & Durable Service.
3D print your designs in Inconel and choose from a range of nickel alloys to suite your application.
The Inconel nickel alloys are 3D printed using the DMLS (Direct Metal Laser Sintering) or SLM process. A very fine metal powder is melted with a laser to produce your design layer by layer. Once your design is complete any support structures are removed and any finishing completed. Unused powder is recycled for use on the next model.
3D Printing in Inconel can work out more cost effective than traditional 'subtractive' processes, especially where you have complex or intricate designs. This is especially true of Inconel which can be difficult to machine.
Our X-Large Format 500 x 500 x 450mm build volume for Inconel IN718 gives you additional scope for combining componts into larger single designs which simplifies construction while removing potential points of failure.
Inconel In718
Inconel In718 is our original material for 3d printing and additive manufacturing in this Nickel alloy.
In718 gives you good tensile strength, fatigue and fracture resistance. It offers creep resistance at high temperatures, up to 700 ° C. It is easy to weld and offers excellent corrosion resistance, in addition Inconel In718 can be heat-treated.
Applications:
In718 offers excellent temperature resistance so is ideal for high temperature applications, including gas turbines, and aerospace applications. Other applications include pumps and measurement probes in energy and process technologies.
Inconel In625
In625 is a new Inconel alloy to be added to our 3d printing service and offers the ability to maintain its strength in extreme environments.
Applications:
General production of components where designs call for high resistance to temperature and corrosion and applications include heat exchanger, turbine and moulding components.
Currently Unavailable.
Nickel Alloy X (2.4665)
New. High temperature and corrosion resistance, Nickel Alloy X is a favorite in the petrol chemical, aerospace and power generation industries. Another 'super alloy' which offers the ability to maintain its strength in extreme environments.
Applications:
- Gas turbine engines components, Combustor cans, Afterburners, jet engine parts and cabin heaters
- Chemical processing retorts, muffles, and tubing
Available On Request.

OUR CLIENTS SAY

"Friendly, helpful, positive approach. Swift turn-round. Excellent and helpful service"

"Quality of parts is nice for the first look (despite surface roughness of al-alloys impellers). Communication is almost perfect. Any technical notes are taking into account, any requirements of order can be discussed. Wide range of materials as I can say regarding metal alloys."
