ULTEM ( Polyetherimide ) is your choice for designs and applications where you need a performing material for applications in harsh or specialised environments. 3D Printed ULTEM is available in 2 versions, ULTEM 9085 and the new ULTEM 1010 version and both offer high heat and chemical resistance plus specific certifications including FST, FDA and Bio Compatible.
Both ULTEM variants are flame-retardant and have Flame, Smoke, Toxicity (FST) certification (UL94 V0) and offer high strength to weight, making them ideal for use in the aviation, marine and ground transport industries. Addidtive manufacturing with ULTEM produce your fully functional parts and advanced, functional prototypes without the cost or lead time of traditional tooling. Other applications include 3d printing Forms and Moulds for composite manufacture as well as jigs and fixtures for factory manufacturing applications.
