ABS. Fast Turnaround, Excellent Value.

Producing your designs our small format ABS material gives you fast turnaround times (often next day)  with lower cost per model and is the service of choice for many rapid prototyping or model making applications.

ABS plastic (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is default material for our Strong & Durable service is which produces strong and durable parts.   It comes in a range of colours and a Bio compatible FDA approved version.

Our extended range of FDM 3D Printing materials is intended to help designers and engineers prototype or rapid manufacture across a range of specialist manufacturing sectors, from electronics & medical through to transport & aerospace. 

 

ABS - Bio compatible. "M30i"

• Biocompatible (ISO 10993 USP Class VI)1 material
• Sterilizable using gamma radiation or ethylene oxide (EtO) sterilization methods
• Best fit for applications requiring good strength and sterilization

ABS - UV Stable. "ASA".

• A new material giving an ABS whth good UV Stability for outdoor applications.
• ASA arguably produces the best finished FDM parts with excellent aesthetics.
• Available in 10 fade-resistant colors

ABS - Static Dissipative. "ESD7".

• Static dissipative with target surface resistance of 10⁷ ohms (typical range 10⁹ – 10⁶ ohms)*
• Makes great assembly tools for electronic and static sensitive products
• Widely used for functional prototypes of cases, enclosures and packaging

Flame, Smoke, Toxicity (FST) certified. "ULTEM".

• FST (flame, smoke, toxicity) certified thermoplastic (Ultem 9085)
• High heat and chemical resistance; Highest tensile and flexural strength
• Ideal for commercial transportation applications in airplanes, buses, trains, boats, etc.
• Food Safe (FDA Cert) & Autoclave compatible version (Ultem 1010)

 

Note: The minimum wall thickness or feature is 1.5mm for ULTEM.

Heat & Chemical Resistant. "PPSF".

• Highest heat and chemical resistance of all Fortus materials
• Mechanically superior material, greatest strength
• Ideal for applications in caustic and high heat environments

Note: The minimum wall thickness or feature is 1.5mm for PPSF.

Metals. Direct Metal Laser Sintering.

3D Printing in Metals gives you design freedom which previously could have been restricted by traditional manufacturing techniques.  

Choose from a range of metals include Aluminum, Steel and Titanium. Large format build volumes are available for your Aluminum parts.

An important addition to our Strong and Durable service is the introduction of 'Real' Silicone as a 3d printable material. 3D Printing in Silicone is a new process being developed by a team of UK engineers and is available in 2 Shore A hardnesses .

CARBON. High Strength, Light weight.

Our Carbon based 3d printing material gives you the ideal material when you need good stiffness & low weight and has the highest strength to weight ratio.

Parts look lovely and have good temperature resistance. Both Carbon, Graphite and Nylon can be coated post build for water and oil resistance.

Graphite

Our Graphite material is ideal for your designs where the ultimate strength of Carbon is not required and offers highly aesthetic parts at a lower build price than carbon.
