FDM Materials. New additions.

Our new range of materials is intended to help designers and engineers prototype or rapid manufacture across a range of specialist manufacturing sectors, from electronics & medical through to transport & aerospace.

These materials will be 3d printed via our 'Strong & Durable' service which is based on FDM 3d printing technology.  Please call 01952 820 453 or email for more information or specification sheets. More information to follow.

ABS - Static Dissipative.

• Static dissipative with target surface resistance of 10⁷ ohms (typical range 10⁹ – 10⁶ ohms)*
• Makes great assembly tools for electronic and static sensitive products
• Widely used for functional prototypes of cases, enclosures and packaging

Colour: Black | Code: ABS-EDS7

ABS - Bio compatible.

• Biocompatible (ISO 10993 USP Class VI)1 material
• Sterilizable using gamma radiation or ethylene oxide (EtO) sterilization methods
• Best fit for applications requiring good strength and sterilization

Colour: Ivory | Code: ABS-M30i.

Polycarbonate - Bio compatible.

• Biocompatible (ISO 10993 USP Class VI)1 material
• Sterilizable using gamma radiation or ethylene oxide (EtO) sterilization methods
• Best fit for applications requiring higher strength and sterilization

Colour: White or Translucent Natural | Code: PC-ISO

ABS\Polycarbonate hybrid.

• Superior mechanical properties and heat resistance of PC
• Excellent feature definition and surface appeal of ABS
• Highest impact strength

Colour: Black | Code: PC-ABS

Flame, Smoke, Toxicity (FST) certified.

• FST (flame, smoke, toxicity) certified thermoplastic
• High heat and chemical resistance; Highest tensile and flexural strength
• Ideal for commercial transportation applications in airplanes, buses, trains, boats, etc.

Colour: Black or Tan | Code: ULTEM 9085

Heat & Chemical Resistant.

• Highest heat and chemical resistance of all Fortus materials
• Mechanically superior material, greatest strength
• Ideal for applications in caustic and high heat environments

Colour: Tan | Code: PPSF
